My name is Ellysa and I am the owner and lead planner of Ellysa Simon Weddings. I fell in love with events at a young age. I always enjoyed the excitement of being at any kind of event. I realized I have a natural talent for planning events while planning for family and friends and I especially enjoyed weddings. Weddings are not only a day filled with emotion, it is also a day to celebrate the couples accomplishments. It is the day where you get to see the couple who put months of hard work planning their wedding tie the knot and become a married couple!

I have been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, 5 of those years working events. I am a graduate of Hospitality Management at SAIT. I am a certified wedding planner through The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC) and truly believe in continual education to stay up on the new trends in a constantly changing industry.
